Ensure that all design elements adhere to the provided guidelines for optimal print quality, including maintaining proper bleeds, spacing, and using high-resolution vector graphics for clarity.

Artwork instructions:

It is HIGHLY advisable to print, cut, and fold layouts to check for proper bleeds, spacing away from folds and die line edges, and to insure no art is being covered by areas that fold over each other. Click below to view our layout guide.

Test Fit & Design on Card Sleeve:

Attached below is an .ai Template containing two layers. Layer 1 represents the die line, and it should always remain locked, isolated from the 'Art' layer, and kept in its original color. Layer 2 is designated for the graphics that will be printed. Ensure this layer only contains the final artwork intended for printing. Remove any extraneous or duplicate objects from the file before proceeding.

Printing Suggestions:

Here are some recommendations to ensure optimal printing quality, making the process easier, sharper, and quicker to dry:

  1. All black text and background should be placed on the Key (K) / Black separation only.
  2. Logos will print better in vector format; if unavailable, they should be at least 400 ppi/dpi.
  3. All images should have a resolution of 400 ppi/dpi for the best results.
  4. All text should be in vector format for sharper, scalable reproduction.
  5. All colored text should be filled with the appropriate color directly, not created as a text mask with a colored block behind it (a common issue with Photoshop files).
  6. Front, back, bottom, and side bleeds should be a minimum of 1/16th of an inch.
  7. Text and images should be placed at least 1/16th of an inch away from folds and die-cut areas.
  8. Full-coverage bleeds extending beyond the die cut should be at least ¼ of an inch.
  9. Any spot colors (PMS colors) must be converted to process color (CMYK).
  10. All files should be submitted in .pdf format.

Note:While 1/16th of an inch is the minimum bleed and spacing, we recommend using 1/8th to 3/16th of an inch for internal bleed areas (over folds) and keeping elements spaced further from folds and cutting areas for added safety.
